Meet your Retreat Instructor

Jennifer (Jen) Narr: MA, Intuitive Artist, RYT 200 HR, 100 HR Kundalini Dance Instructor, Certified Hypnotherapist, and Life Coach (ICF Certification)

My journey has been an ongoing adventure that kicked off ages ago, but honestly, it feels like I'm just getting started. Back in 2007, I stumbled into the awesome world of painting, and since then, I've been on this mission to master the craft—trying out all kinds of techniques, strategies, and mediums/media along the way.

While on this art journey, I had these random flings with yoga. Then, Willow Soul Yoga Studio happened during a dark and sad period. It wasn't just a studio; it felt like finding a home. Little did I know that this place would open up a new world for me.

One day, feeling inspired, I mixed things up in my painting classes and threw in some Hypnotherapy. The combo turned out to be pretty powerful, and now I'm teaming up with other talented souls to bring Hypno Sound Baths and Movement, Mantra, and Mandala classes to studios. It's been a blast!

Encouraged by these wins, I thought, "Why not?" and signed up for yoga teacher training. I'm all about making yoga accessible, especially for those dealing with autoimmune stuff and old injuries. My yoga style? I lovingly call it "Woobly Yoga." Yep, picture me tipping, adjusting, wiggling, and wobbling—far from those perfect yogi scenes you see in magazines.

My journey is a true mix of self-discovery, artistic exploration, and a commitment to making yoga a wonderful space for everyone, quirks and all.

Inviting you to check out what I've been dreaming up is an honor. I've put together a retreat that's not your average deal—it's a total immersive experience to connect, spark creativity, and vibe with that inner goddess (Shakti) we've all got inside. So, if you're up for it, join me and ride these waves of creativity!

Meet your Chef: Sacred Loon

Heidi Evelyn Morris: Registered Nurse, AAS, ASN; Army Combat Medic Veteran; Ayurveda Practitioner; Naturopathy Practitioner; RYT 200 HR; Certified in Sound Healing; Professional Chef

Since childhood, I have been fascinated with food and how it affects the human body. I come from a family of culinary and medical professionals. I am Norwegian, Swedish, Native American, French, and German. I grew up learning where our food comes from, how to grind wheat, and how to use our hands with love to create food that Mother Earth has provided for us.

After high school, I pushed aside my heart’s desire to be a yoga instructor and pursued a music performance major in fiddle and Celtic at UW-Superior, studying under the Concert Master of the DSSO; however, I felt something was still missing in my life. I left the music world and went to Paramedic school. Still feeling a void, I decided to pursue culinary at Le Cordon Bleu; however, my path led back to medicine, which led me to enlist in the Army after 9/11, serving for six years. Afterward, I worked at a local bakery, and I then continued my education at SCSU/SCTCC to obtain my nursing degree with an emphasis in nutrition and microbiology.

Nutrition became imperative as I was an athlete running marathons, competing in CrossFit, and backpacking. I was team captain in health challenges, creating clean recipes for optimum performance for athletes. I have experience in cooking and creating recipes for those with extensive allergies to Western, Scandinavian, German, Paleo, Vegetarian, Vegan, and Ayurvedic diets. I only use the best quality ingredients; the majority are from my gardens, as I live on 2.5 acres and have not only many gardens but also a fruit tree orchard and egg-laying chickens. I also freeze-dry, can, and preserve the harvest for the winter months.

Right before COVID-19, I resigned from being a Charge Nurse to homeschool my sons and care for myself by treating my PTSD, focusing on Yoga, cooking, and nutrition. As an Ayurveda Practitioner, mother of a son on the Autism spectrum, and a medical professional, I believe and have seen how food is both medicine and poison. Education is essential to be able to know how and what to feed the body with optimal nutrition to prevent disease and illness. I have extensively researched and studied the GI system and how food affects health and wellness. My goal is to help educate my clients on proper nutrition, the constant change of Dosha balance, and how to compensate for maintaining homeostasis through food, yoga, and mudras. I finally found what was missing in my life. It’s an honor and a blessing to work with others through my love and compassion for food and health. Food is Mother Earth’s natural Medicine.

Meet your Human Design Workshop Leader

Elise Dorion: Human Design Specialist, RYT 200 HR, Certified in Sound Healing, Somatic Healing & Breathwork Facilitator

2/4 Emotional Manifesting Generator, Enneagram 3w4, Triple Gemini

After eight years of building and leading a top-producing real estate team that I was incredibly proud of, I was in complete burnout mode and could no longer find clarity around why I was always striving for more. This is when life placed yoga back in my life. Through my yoga community, I was introduced to Human Design, which was a path that forced me to slow down and feel all the emotions that I had been “achieving” my way through/running from for so long. Through the process, I could recognize that I was holding onto things that were no longer meant for me, and by letting them go, I could come back into alignment with my true self.

Transitioning from the fast-paced environment of real estate to a space where I can support others in self-awareness and healing has reignited my purpose and fulfillment. I have always been passionate about personality types and analyzing how we all show up uniquely in this world. Helping others discover their highest potential while embracing their whole, unique self in the process is one of my greatest joys.

It wasn’t until I discovered Human Design that I realized that what I had been conditioned to believe by society as my greatest weakness was actually one of my superpowers...inconsistency! In true Manifesting Generator fashion, I have experienced life through many different passions, roles, and businesses. To name a few, I have dabbled in sales, photography, customer service, insurance, finance, entrepreneurship, leadership, interior design & staging, real estate, and yoga. Only in hindsight can I see how beautifully each step of my non-consistent and non-linear journey has brought me exactly to where I am supposed to be.

When we step into who we were meant to be and do the work to decondition the beliefs around who we were told to be, life feels much more fulfilling.
